At Tuft Supplies, we believe that great craftsmanship starts with responsible sourcing. That's why our wool is independently certified to the highest animal welfare and sustainability standards — verified by Bureau Veritas, one of the world's leading certification bodies.
🐑 Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) – Version 2.2
The Responsible Wool Standard ensures that wool comes from farms that practice good animal welfare and land management. Certified farms are audited for:
- No mulesing
- Freedom from hunger, thirst, and distress
- Responsible land management
- Full traceability from farm to finished product
🐐 Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS) – Version 1.2
The Responsible Mohair Standard certifies that mohair is sourced from Angora goats that are raised with the highest standards of animal welfare, on farms that protect the natural environment.
🦙 Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS) – Version 1.0
The Responsible Alpaca Standard ensures that alpaca fiber is sourced from animals that are treated with care, and from land that is sustainably managed.
